A quick elf portrait I did tonight. I just... wanted to draw, but wanted to get it done in a night. Did some other sketches and then came up with this. Actually pretty happy with it. I used a thicker brush. I didn't have any pre-plan ideas really. I was went from one step to another.

Took about 1 1/2 hours. I'm honest about how long it takes me to finish something... unlike most people. Meh.

i rather like the way you rendered her hair. i generally like the whole hting, though i think the shadows should spread more, not blur or anything, just take up more space. right now th shadows are so close to the edges and slender that they don't really do anything. they don't especially have purpose. (i'm never particlarly fond of flash-type lightsources... only when an actual camera is used XD)

this is great, I really like all the details you put on the eyes and the hair.
