I started this out as a joke, AND THEN IT GOT REAL. I also hate Valentines Day (I'm also happily married), so I rarely do anything for Valentine's Day art-wise.

Based upon an enemy concept for Potemkin, the sci-fi/horror game I'm developing.

My visual centers are seeing the familiar curves and it's all 'yay' but my back brain is seeing the tentacles and it's like 'No!'

Great Concept art. Very in the vein of Alien, The Thing, and Dead Space (not it's sequels though)

Normally I avoid looking at horror themed characters like the plague, yet this is strangely sexy... in a disturbing sort of way. Pretty well done, if you ask me, because on one hand it's creepy, while on the other hand it's a design that sells and fosters further curiosity for the story behind what these creatures are.
