Second pass on Amber. I ended up liking blonde the most, but did a red headed version too, that can be found on my Potemkin tumblr.

I'm sure people that answered the poll are hating me right now!

Seemed like one of the main reason people voted against blonde was due to stereotypes, and I kind of realized that there really aren't many blonde female characters in video games. Red is badass, but is quite common in games.

Was really interesting to see how vast and varying the opinions were on her hair color.

Your eye for details is very impressive!! Especially when it comes to the outfit : )
This may be because I'm woman, but I don't think the hair color should matter. It's the character's actions and personality that makes him or her interesting and badass, not the hair. Lol. Guess that's just me though.

There aren't many blonde female characters in video games? I guess maybe it's because Samus, Zelda, and Princess Peach are so iconic. I think the ponytail somehow makes Amber look young and less experienced than the other two styles, anyway, so it did seem to somewhat suit her character better.

Thanks. Red hair is also sort of the go-to color for strong female characters. Really all you ever see is red and brown in Western games. Outside of Nintendo there's not really any blondes, that I can think of. Maybe a Gears of War character.
