Felt like drawing a witch because Halloween is coming up. Yeah I know it's early.... but last time I did a holiday drawing it wasn't until the day of... and nobody cared at that point. Haha.
This is the finished version of the tutorial I did here: [link]
Shit... I think I flattened the layers.... that means I can't color it.
Edit: I found an unflattened version. It's a Christmas miracle!!
beautiful detail! i don't always feel that more detail always means better. but it really really works here. i absolutely look forward to your colored version because you always do an exquisite job.
by the way, you can also color lineart by putting a layer above it, and setting the mode to 'multiply.' that way, if you accidentally flatten your picture, you can color it anyways.

It was an accident officer. I was cleaning my fingernails. With a hunting knife. And he ran into me. Backwards. 17 times.
Nice work! I like the look and the way you filled the page with the detail--it's a very explosive composition. I also like the hat--she looks like a lot creepier I-NO without a guitar. Nice work, man! I like it a lot!
Thanks... I wanted to do a similar hat to hers and try not to have her look like I-NO haha... A witch is one of those characters that it's hard not to make them look like another character you've seen.
I don't really believe in the more detail = better philosophy either. You can have a full page of lines and make it look as boring as an empty page. Every once in awhile I like to do detailed lineart though.
I haven't tried multiply in quite awhile, luckily I found a version that was unflattened haha...

Life is nothing but a bunch of random ordeals occurring in a seemingly chronological series to preserve the humanity of mankind
