Actually finished this last night, but decided to post it today. I wanted to take a break to see if I was actually finished.

Did a bit of experimenting on this one, I think it paid off. I actually like this for the most part. I think it has a few funky shadows and such, but turned out how I planned. Spent 4-5 hours on the lineart and 8-10 hours coloring it. Due to experimentation and I decided to recolor certain portions. Such as the plate on her head and on her wrists were originally metal instead of leather. I originally had a background for this. A really simple one, but it really took away from her, so I got rid of it. I got lazy on some certain parts and later fixed them.


I made a jean texture for her pants, I'm not sure how visible it is, probably depends on your resolution. I don't know why people don't just make their own textures, it's really not that hard.

The anatomy gets kind of wierd in the midsection between the bottom part of the tied shirt to the top of the pants from what I'm seeing. Could just be the angle, but it looks like it would snap her spine. O_o (Should have actually looked at the lineart more closely instead of gawking at it.)

Awesome coloring though!

I'm thinking that I agree with you about the armguards and headband- it wouldn't have been as neat if they were metal. Nice jean texture and work with the stitching down thar, by the way. :)

I love the way you colored her stomach.Its wonderful. The shading is fantastic! I dont like staight hair like that but the eyes/color of them are kick ass. I never thought of her having red eyes ^^

Nice work on this! I like the alternating black/white colour scheme you've got going, here--it's interesting to see how the details and how they interact with the dominane t colour on any given part of her outfit. Good call on the background as well--somehow the darker BG really warms up the colouring. :) Excellent work on this! Very well done!
